SportStars make their mark in Finals

15/11/07

Selected as one of only five National finalists, Sportstars spent an evening mingling with fellow enterprising young brtis and PM Gordon Brown.

Make Your Mark is a national campaign to create an enterprise culture among young people in the UK. The campaign is backed by an unprecedented coalition of business, charities, education bodies and government. It is unique in being young-people focused, business-led and government-backed.

"We do this by giving people in their teens and twenties the inspiration and opportunity to turn their ideas into reality, whether through starting businesses or social enterprises or by making an idea happen at work. We're aiming to double the proportion of people aged 14-30 who aspire to start their own venture - so that 30 per cent of young people have this as a goal by the end of 2008."

Another proud moment in Sportstars' short history, the company are continually striving to reach as many children as possible with their excellent sports coaching.
